Dental Implants

While high-tech in nature, dental implants are actually more tooth-saving than traditional bridgework since implants do not rely on neighboring teeth for support. Dentures, bridges or individual teeth mounted to the implants won’t slip or shift in your mouth. With dental implants you will chew better, speak better, and perhaps best of all… you’ll gain a gorgeous new smile that will boost your confidence!

Most incompetent dental office in area. I have been there three times and every single appointment was some how messed up. The dentists may be good but the office staff is horrible and not worth the trouble... Not helpful and not willing to listen. Try to make an appointment and told them exactly what my dental needs were. They put me in under "pain". The dentist said there was not enough time allotted for me. NOT TO MENTION IT TOOK 30 MINUTES TO GET 2 X-RAYS. Too busy or negligent?? Prior to that, I was put on hold for 20 minutes and the girl who took my call went to lunch. Left me on hold. I can not give one positive review for this dental office and staff!! Will never go back!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

They seem to just want to get you out the door as fast as possible. I left without answers to some important questions I had about a tooth I'm having problems with. Now i have to pay for a second appointment with a different dentist to get an opinion on it. Not to mention that I went home with terrible pain in a tooth that was having no problems, but it went away after a week or two. I think the dentist stabbed my gum where my wisdom teeth were pulled, because that's what it felt like.

Spotlight on Periodontal Disease

Periodontal Disease (also known as Pyorrhea) is an infection of the gums and bone that hold your teeth in place. Left untreated, it causes loss of the bone anchoring your teeth- and subsequent loss of the teeth.

According to the American Dental Association, Periodontal Disease is the #1 cause of tooth loss in the United States.

Periodontal Disease & Heart Disease

Did you know that people with gum disease are FOUR times more likely to be afflicted with Heart Disease than people without gum disease?

That’s right. Recent studies at The University of Minnesota confirm that a chronic infection in your mouth (which is what Periodontal Disease is) allows the bacteria to enter your blood stream. These bacteria may cause blood clots and block your arteries, possibly even triggering a heart attack.

Other studies have shown that plaque bacteria entering the bloodstream through infected gums may also cause a potentially fatal heart disease called infective endocarditis. This is a bacterial infection which causes the sac around the heart to become inflamed.

Reduce Your Health Risks

How can you reduce your risks of serious health ailments that may be due to Periodontal Disease?

  1. Have regular exams at our office.
  2. Have your teeth cleaned AT LEAST twice a year- sometimes more frequently if you build up plaque quickly.
  3. Brush and floss regularly... AND remember to see us often!
